Saint Catherine Medical Center Fountain Springs is committed to establishing and promoting wellness initiatives that support our mission as a healthcare provider. Providing a healthy environment for patients, visitors, physicians, volunteers and staff is an important part of our efforts. To help us succeed, our campus is designated as tobacco-free.
We understand that the use of tobacco products is a personal choice and we are not asking you to quit using tobacco products; only that you refrain from using tobacco products while on our campus.   We recognize the health benefits of not using tobacco products, and our new policy reinforces our commitment to the overall health and wellness of the communities we serve.  Research shows tobacco use and second-hand smoke are detrimental to healthy living.
Our efforts present an opportunity to help many individuals achieve healthier lifestyles. Members of our staff have quit using tobacco products due to our new tobacco-free policy.  If you are interested in tobacco cessation programs, please contact us. Our goal is to provide each of you with a healthier environment to receive healthcare services.
