Surgical Services Manager

Surgical Services

Full-time position with benefits; reports to Chief Nursing Officer. Responsible for the management and coordination of operating room, recovery room and ambulatory surgery unit functions; maintaining regulatory compliance; and building positive relationships between medical staff and personnel.

Successful applicant will be a graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing; have a current RN license issued by the state of PA, as well as current CPR and ACLS certifications; and prior experience as an operating room nurse. Other requirements include excellent written and verbal communication skills; superior organizational skills with attention to detail; the ability to work independently and computer literacy in a Microsoft environment.

Full-time position with benefits. Nights with possible day rotation. EOW/Holiday rotation. Mainly 8 & 12 hour shifts. Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing school, with a current, unrestricted RN license issued by Commonwealth of PA. Current BLS and ACLS certifications required. Two years prior BH nursing experience preferred.

Full-time position with benefits. Day/Evening with weekend and holiday rotation. Must posess a basic working knowledge of all functional sections of the clinical laboratory including hematology, coagulation, blood banking, clinical chemistry, bacteriology and urinalysis.

Qualified candidate must:

 - be a graduate (Associate Degree) from a training program for MLTs accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the AMA; OR

 - be a graduate of a certificate-level training program for MLTs accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the AMA.

Speech Therapist

PRN Variable shift position/no benefits. Must hold a Bachelor's Degree from a University meeting the requirements of the American Speech Therapy Assoc. Will be responsible for interpreting and carrying out the prescription of the physician; must know the principles and practice of Speech Therapy,be familiar with the ASTA Code of Ethics; Must be able to apply the theory of Speech Therapy; must have supervision and management skills. Per-diem positions/no benefits. Must be currently registered as a CNA in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania; current BLS certification required. Long-term Care experience preferred.

Administration

Full-time, benefits position. Seeking an individual with strong administrative skills and excellent customer service to support the executive team. Successful candidate will be a key individual in managing multiple calendars and priorities, developing communications plans, and facilitating accurate timely reports, meeting minutes and presentations, and observe confidentiality in handling administrative information. Utilize creativity to establish relationships with administration customers and develop long-term processes, while keeping the CEO and other executives apprised of events that are important to SCMC and community, physician and patient communications.

Qualified candidates will have recent experience working with top level management in a similar capacity, experience with medical terminology and meeting minutes, must be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), effective written and verbal communication skills. Candidates with prior hospital and/or financial experience will be given preference.

Billing Clerk

Part-time position with benefits. Mainly day shift, Mon.-Fri.; possible evenings and weekends as needed.

Candidates should be high school graduate or equivalent, with preference given Business School graduates or hold an Associate's Degree in a business or accounting related field. Experience in hospital and/or long-term care billing and accounts receivable required.
